This one just hit the market and it came out exactly how we wanted it. A 2021 Southfork GT 1648 paired with a 2008 Evinrude 90/65 E-Tech 2-stroke - a combo that's genuinely fast and a blast to run. If you've been hunting for a boat that actually has some teeth to it without breaking the bank on a brand new rig, this is worth a serious look.
We didn't just bolt a few things on and call it done. The sport console is fully custom - fabricated in-house, clean welds, solid aluminum construction. New seats with sliding bases, all new cables and helm, and a freshly sharpened impeller so the motor is pulling like it should right out of the gate. The flip-open front deck is a nice touch - it gives you access without getting in your way when you're running.
The 12-gallon fuel cell keeps you on the water longer between stops. There's also a plate under the perforated floor that's already set up to mount a third seat if you need it. So whether you're running two people or three, the layout is flexible enough to handle it. That kind of built-in versatility isn't something you usually see on a boat at this price point.
The trailer is a 2026 custom-built easy loader - not a worn-out hand-me-down. Brand new wiring and lights throughout, so you're not showing up to the ramp hoping everything works. Out here in St. Clair, MO, we see a lot of boats that are half-done or cobbled together with parts that don't belong together. This isn't that. Everything on this rig was done with intention.
